Hi !
My site is a one page site, could it be the reason that no message appears once the form sent, despite the fact that I settled it ?
Regards.May 14, 2019 at 5:48 pm #1100706I did some test : the confirmation message works well if the form is not in a color section.
May 15, 2019 at 5:47 am #1100822Hi,
Thanks for the update. Are you ok with using the form outside of a Color Section?
Best regards,
RikardMay 15, 2019 at 11:22 am #1100969Hi Rikard, thanks for the answer. In my one-page site, I’m using the color section id and inner links (with #) in order to allow the user to easily access one particular section of the page via the top menu. Then the color section takes the dimensions of the whole window and it’s fine. I would work without it if only another element would allow the use of section id, but it doesn’t seem to be the case.
May 15, 2019 at 11:41 am #1100977Ok, some test results one the page linked below. The form is not in a color section.
– Starting Firefox (latest version) in Safe Mode :
— First test : confirmation message ok
— Resfreshing the page, trying again : no confirmation message– On Chrome : always ok.

May 15, 2019 at 12:25 pm #1101006Results are the same on the page linked below, where the form IS in a color section.
May 15, 2019 at 12:29 pm #1101011On the initial page linked below, forms at the very down are in color sections, and the confirmation message doesn’t work, no matter the browser.

May 15, 2019 at 6:04 pm #1101143Something more : on this page https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/elements/contact-form/ I got the confirmation message with both browsers.
May 18, 2019 at 8:28 pm #1102085Hi philippe2812,
Can you please make a small screencast of the issue?
Best regards,
VictoriaMay 19, 2019 at 12:22 pm #1102255Hi Victoria, thanks for the reply.
You can find below pics before and after. The writing you can read is a block of text that is always there, not a confirmation message.May 21, 2019 at 8:02 am #1102718Hi philippe2812,
Thank you for clarifying.
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Thanks for the update.
We were able to reproduce the issue and would like to inspect it further. Could you generate a login token again? The first one has expired.

May 31, 2019 at 3:29 am #1105548Hi,
Thank you for the info.
We can see that there’s an error in loading the response messages but we are not sure what’s causing it, yet. Can you give us access to the file server? Please post the FTP details in the private field.
Best regards,

June 24, 2019 at 10:46 am #1112875Hi,
We are able to login to the server but we can’t find the WordPress root directory. Where is it?
We may need another login token for the WordPress dashboard because the first one has expired.Sorry if this is taking a bit too long to get resolved.

IsmaelJune 24, 2019 at 11:35 am #1112892Hi,

June 26, 2019 at 6:46 am #1113486Hi,
Thank you for the update.
An error occurs when we submit the contact form. Do you receive any messages from the contact form? Please try to upgrade PHP from 5.6 to 7.1 or later.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 28, 2019 at 2:30 pm #1114266Hi,
Yes, I received the messages. Update is done (PHP 7.3). Same behaviour of the forms though.
Regards.July 1, 2019 at 8:21 am #1114811Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The confirmation message doesn’t display because the home page is also set as the 404 page, so the status header on redirect is set to 404 or not found breaking the contact form script. Please create another page and set it as the 404 page.
Best regards,
