    Hey dockerydesigns,

Can you please check the server log for the error?

    Which php are you running?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Thank you Victoria.
Php 5.6.11 please see link below:
Audit logs only seem to show change states. No errors I can see. There are no WP-Error or Debug.log files

    #1096221

When I turn on debug mode, no log is created. I have commented this out in the wp-config.php now, but uncommenting, running the problem pages, etc. shows no issues and creates no debug.log

    #1096229

I have added a debug.log file to the wp-content folder, but file retains 0byte size

    I updated to PHP 7.1
Now I have a 500 error on wp-admin screens, wp-login screens when a proper ID is given.

I also receive this fatal error when using the search function:
    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Function name must be a string in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php:2 Stack trace: #0 D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-load.php(37): require_once() #1 D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘D:\\WWW\\jordand\\…’) #2 D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\index.php(22): require(‘D:\\WWW\\jordand\\…’) #3 {main} thrown in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php on line 2

Should I just downgrade the product?

    Hi,

Thanks for the updates. If you are getting a 500 internal server error then I think it would be best if you restored the site from a backup, would you be able to do so?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I’m not sure what you mean.
I had a white screen of death with no errors. Now I have a 500 error and some specific issues. I have a backup from the white screen. Not sure if that’s a step forward. The website works fine, I just cannot gain access to my wp-admin files.

Reuploading the previous website gave me the following error on any page:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WP_Meta_Query in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-includes\class-wp-meta-query.php on line 22

Returning to newest WP build and newest Enfold version. Where can I download the older versions of the enfold files?

    #1096810

Just managed to get access back after loading wordpress 5.1.1 from scratch, newest version of enfold.
Website works fine. 500 error when accessing wp-admin

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, I’m suggesting that you restore the site from a backup to a point before you had these problem. Would that be an alternative?

If not then I would suggest that you rename the plugin folder, then delete all themes in the theme folder except for one of the default WordPress themes. That should hopefully restore access to the backend.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Ok. Turned on error logs.
Installed wordpress from scratch via FTP. Deleted plugins and installed latest version of enfold. Noted that I had an error in wp-config.php in line 2. “uncaught error: fatal error, not a string”

Response when I posted the code:

    Hi,

    U have been hacked :)

    Best regards,
    Basilis

Not sure what this means. How can I tell what’s been hacked and/or how to fix this? Do you see an issue in the wp-config line 2 and how can I adjust this? I appreciate Basilis response, but its not very clear.
