May 3, 2019 at 7:41 am #1096762Hi,
Thanks for that, those details worked. First off, could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?
Best regards,
RikardMay 8, 2019 at 6:17 pm #1098527Deactivated all Plugins – still not working.
May 8, 2019 at 6:25 pm #1098533It gets even better. Now I can’t even change the content or design of single pages or posts.
May 10, 2019 at 2:59 am #1099111Hi,
Thanks for the update. You are getting several error messages on your installation, I’m not sure what is causing them though. Do you mind if we deactivate plugins for testing purposes?
Best regards,
RikardMay 10, 2019 at 2:30 pm #1099284Deactivate them but please activate them afterwards ;)
May 11, 2019 at 7:32 am #1099526Hi,
Thanks for that. Deactivating plugins did nothing unfortunately. Could you try to reinstall WordPress to see if that changes anything? Also, have you made any changes to any core files in WordPress?
Best regards,
RikardMay 11, 2019 at 8:49 am #1099539When I change the theme everything works so I think reinstalling WordPress will not make a difference. I even updated WordPress a couple of days ago. No I did not make any changes in the core files of WordPress.
May 11, 2019 at 6:50 pm #1099615Hi,
I was able to login and found that you have many jQuery errors such as “Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined” typically this occurs when jQuery is loaded in the footer, or it’s loaded after the other scripts, or it’s minimized twice. But this seems to only be happening for logged in users and not your front end, when looking at your widgets page I see this error: “Uncaught TypeError: a.widget is not a function” coming from the WordPress core.
I took a look at your performance settings and other plugin settings didn’t see anything blocking the jQuery, I see that you and Rikard both tried disabling your plugins to find a conflict, but without success, so I didn’t try this.
I recommend looking at your webhost and check if it’s minimizing at the server level or loading jQuery after the other scripts.Best regards,
MikeMay 12, 2019 at 12:45 pm #1099738I contacted the support team of my web host. Thats what they said:
There is no server-side restriction regarding Jquery. Here also no limitation or limitation takes place.
If so, the problem would not only occur in certain operations but also in general and with other themes.
It may be advisable to take care of the mentioned errors concerning JQuery, which may cause the problem. Furthermore, there are some duplicate instructions in your .htaccess file, at the bottom. If necessary, you should also clean up or adjust this once.
May 14, 2019 at 7:56 am #1100392Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Let’s try to unlink the default scripts. Add this code in the wp-config.php file.
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); // Disable display of errors and warnings define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true); // Use dev versions of core JS and CSS files (only needed if you are modifying these core files) define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true ); // disable concatenation define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
We’ll check the site again once the debug mode is enabled.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 15, 2019 at 1:11 pm #1101026Hey Ismael,
thanks for your help.
I changed / edited the following code in the wp-config.php file:define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, true);
define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );After that the homepage said:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘define’ (T_STRING) in /www/htdocs/w0152455/megaklick-marketing.de/wp-config.php on line 85May 17, 2019 at 11:47 am #1101736Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Did you copy that code from your email? Please copy it directly from the forum to avoid the conversion of signs or symbols to their character code.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 25, 2019 at 10:22 am #1104152Sorry for the late reply.
Pastes the code at the bottom of the wp-config.php file. Now there are no error messages.
I still can’t change pages or posts.
May 28, 2019 at 8:04 am #1104726Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Do you see any errors in the page? We would like to check it again but the previous credentials are no longer working. Please provide another login account.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 28, 2019 at 12:54 pm #1104794No errors.
May 31, 2019 at 4:00 am #1105554Hi,
Thanks for the update.
We can still see a lot of errors in the console and the scripts are still concatenated. Are you sure that the “CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS” is already set to false? Please post the FTP details in the private field so that we can debug the issue further.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 2, 2019 at 9:35 pm #1106439See the private content area.
June 3, 2019 at 7:31 am #1106584Hi!
Thank you for the update.
We are now able to access the file server. However, the previous WP login credentials are no longer valid. Please add it in the private field so that we can toggle the widgets and debug the issue properly.
Cheers!
IsmaelJune 3, 2019 at 2:52 pm #1106717I haven’t changed the login credentials but I created a new account.
See below.June 4, 2019 at 3:10 pm #1107129Hi,
Thank you for the info.
The error is gone after we removed the footer widgets. Did you add any custom scripts in the text or html widgets?
We also found the following error from the kk Star Cheater plugin.
call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method Anderson_Makiyama_KK_Star_Cheater::js() should not be called statically in /www/htdocs/w0152455/megaklick-marketing.de/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286
What is that plugin for?
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 4, 2019 at 7:56 pm #1107247Hey Ismael,
thanks for your help.
No I only added html to the footer or at least I tried to.
To explain this further you need to know that there are two plugins: “kk stars” and “kk stars” cheater.
The “kk stars” Plugin allows the user to rate my posts on a scale from 1 to 5 stars. These stars are then displayed as rich snippets in Google.
Thats how I get a better click through rate.I had this plugin run for a while but somehow some people and competitors of mine made some negative SEO attacks on me and rated my posts badly so the rating of my posts dropped from 5 stars to 1 star. Thats not great…
Thats why I searched for a plugin that would stop this. I found the “kk stars cheater” plugin in the internet and installed it. It modifies the ratings of all my posts to 4 – 5. The user is still able to rate my post but when someone rates my post with only 3 stars or less the rating counts as if he rated the post with 5 stars. A little trick to overcome such negative SEO attacks and piss them off.
Now on the front page all the errors are displayed. I think this is because of the debug mode, right? Could you please turn it off so that visitors of my page do not see it? Thank you!
Best regards,
LeonJune 5, 2019 at 6:19 am #1107364Hi,
Thank you for the info.
We deactivate the debug mode for now to hide the error. You should forward that to the plugin developers because that could cause errors or affect other functionality in non-obvious ways. Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 5, 2019 at 10:17 am #1107460Thank you! Appreciate your support!
Best regards,
