    So I have a few clients that are using Enfold, and I am about to do another site but Enfolds updates are concerning as of late.
    2 of my clients, with Valid Activated Tokens, are not able to update to 4.5.6.
    When I click on Update Theme, it stalls & after a while it fails, I then have to put 4.5.5 back in to get the site back up
    I really love the Enfold theme, but you guys have fallen so far down the “recommended” themes list lately and I cant help but think its because of all the issues with Updates over the past several months since guttnbrg.

    Is Enfold staying around?
    I really love this theme, its so much more powerful than other top themes

    Hey OhYa1337,

    The problems with updates have been a mixture of WordPress and Envato updates, it’s mostly been out of our hands to be honest with you. We have just been trying to put out fires created by external changes. To answer your question; we are not going anywhere and I feel that we are stronger than ever.

    If you need us to have a look at your update problems then please include admin login details to an example site in private.

    Thanks, I will purchase a new license for the new client next week!
    I will backup & try the update again, does the Update via zip file method still work for 4.5.6 ?
    or only the standard theme update method?

    Hi,

    Great, I’m glad we could clarify that for you :-)

    If you are updating from a version earlier than 4.4.1 then you need to do it manually, if not then you should be able to update from the dashboard like usual if you have created and added a token at Envato.
