    Hi moderators!

    I have added two 50/50 columns and tried adding a background image to one of the columns but after refreshing my page i still don’t see my image in it. Is there something that i need to fix with the height / width of my column? thanks.

    I am trying to add a background image into the vertically 50/50 with an image on the side and text on the other side.

    I really hope you guys can help me out!

    Hey JordanTH3,
    Please try setting the columns to equal height, the column with only a background image will act as if it’s empty and have no height.

    But as equal height the column with the text will add height to it.

    Hey Mike,

    Thanks for the prompt reply. Attached is the picture after i’ve tried adding padding onto it.

    However i hope to be able to stretch the image in order to cover the whole area of my column on the left side.
    How do i make this possible?
    Please advice.

    Hi,
    Have you tried the background settings when you add the image, such as scale & cover?

    We can also try to use background position css if you include a url to the page.
    Another option is using the grid row element instead of the columns.
