Hi there team Kriesi,
First of all, we and our clients are currently happy users of the Enfold theme.
At this very moment we are trying to create a multi language website with Enfold and WPML. However at some parts we don’t exactly understand how to fully translate our website.
For instance when we translate our homepage with the WPML editor it is not showing up in the concerning language. The same goes for the footer (as page). It is also not showing up within the theme options of the concerning language.
What is a proper way to handle translations in this situation?
Kind regards,

Thanks for the update.
You have to clone or translate the home page and set it as the front page in the language’s own Enfold > Theme Options. Do the same for the custom footer page. Please note that the theme options have to be configured for every active language. Right now, only the EN version has its front page set. The following documentation should help you with the rest of the translation.

Thank you for answering our question.
Another relative question about translating Enfold. We make use of ‘Page Content’ element to include pages in the Pagebuilder. Which is a very powerful feature. But when translating all pages (and pages which are included), this ‘Page Content’ is not translated.
What is the proper way to translate these ‘Page Content’ elements?
Thanks in advance,

March 27, 2020 at 5:47 am #1198222Hi,
That is one of the limitations of the Page Content element. You will have to manually translate the page used in the Page Content element, edit the pages using the element and re-select the translated page. We know this is a bit cumbersome, but at this time it’s the only way to display a translated version of the Page Content.
Best regards,
Ismael -
