A YouTube hosted video is set as a background image on the website. Some of the YouTube icons and text show near the top, for the first second or two of loading – then they disappear. It’s most noticeable on a tablet we tested. What needs to happen for the YouTube icons to not display on the website at all, right from the start?
I tried adding &showinfo=0 to the url background video url, but it just broke it.

Yes, we are aware of that issue. The only workaround for now is to use a self hosted video or upload it to vimeo. Unfortunately, the video parameters for those info are now deprecated, so you won’t be able to remove them.
