Hello! I am planning to update the theme from version 2.4.2 to the latest version. I did not have information about the purchase code or who bought the theme previously, as it was some years ago. I did not find any solution to find the licence code, so I ended up with buying the theme again. Could it be an idea to include the licence in the theme download, so it can always be found on the webserver? Is it not something in my installation that verify that it is a unique licence (and thereby identify that I already have a valid licence), that also prevent that the theme files can be copied an reused for several webpages? I suppose I am not the only one who has this problem and it feels frustrating to buy a product again when you know that you already have a legal licence. Do you see any potential problems with this upgrade, since it is upgrading so many versions? I have taken full backup of my website, but wonder if there is other theme settings you recommend me to export before I do the upgrade?

When updating from such an old version please ensure that your site is using at least PHP version 5.6, but version 7 would be better going forward. Please also be aware that some very old plugins may not be ready for WordPress v5.1.1, which I assume you will also be updating.
So please try disabling old plugins before updating.
Other PHP settings to look at are:
PHP Time Limit: No limit
PHP Memory Limit: 256M
PHP Post Max Size: 50M
PHP Max Upload Size: 20MPlease let us know if this helps.
Best regards,
