We have enfold theme installed on one of our website, an Agency has purchased the theme in 2013 and installed / developed our website.
Our problem is we are not getting any update for the enfold theme.
We have the License certificate and purchase code details are pasted in Private content:

Please contact the agency and ask them to update the theme to the latest version 4.5.5 for you. You are currently using a pretty old version.
Envato has updated their API and API keys no longer work. You would need Personal Token instead and to insert Personal Token into Enfold theme options, your theme version needs to be at least 4.5. Yours is currently 3.7.1. Developers at agency can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/ and generate one insert it in Enfold theme options so that you would receive auto updates.Purchase code is registered on our support forum. We can replace email to yours but updated version of the theme can be only downloaded from ThemeForest account that was used to purchase the theme.

The agency name is buzzfactory and the agency is closed now, and the agency owner doesn’t reply to our emails. In this case how do we proceed?

In that case then I think you will have to purchase a license of your own, otherwise you will have this problem each time you want to update or access the theme files.

Do you think its fair, because we have paid for it already, and we have the license certificate and purchase code and you can even trace the theme to our website gridlogics.com, so paying again for the same seems cheated. We get emails like yours on a daily basis, do you think it’s fair that we should spend several hours per week handling matters for people who can’t see to it that they have control over something they have purchased? If you pay for something, it’s up to you to take control over what you have bought, and since you haven’t even bought it from us, then why is this any of our concern? If you can’t get access to the theme files from where you bought it, then your only option is to get your own license.
You could try reaching out to Envato about your problem, but I think they will tell you the same thing as I just did.
