Hi Kriesi
You have been very helpful went a built a site about getting the video to autoplay. This functionality is now not working on the site. There are two problems:
1. The main video on the video page does not autoplay
2. None of the videos can be displayed at all on iPhones – does anyone have any knowledge of how to make this functionality work please?I welcome any help you can give me please.

I did loaded your web site, on my iPhone and I could see the videos loaded and playing just fine.

It is not playing at all on my iPhone or my clients iPhone. Can I check what phone you working on (I am on iPhone 7 and what version of IOS you are on please.

The issue I am having is that when using an iPhone with the default browser, Safari (which will be the one used by most visitors) the Easy Slider module blocks embedded YouTube video from opening.
I know this is not a Safari issue because when I have worked around the problem by entering the YouTube video using an iframe embedded code in a code block the video opens fine. The problem only existing on your theme when using the Easy Slider module.
To show you what I mean you will to switch your phone temporarily to use Safari instead of Chrome, or borrow a colleagues for the experiment.This page show the video in a code block and opens well: https://www.capsulaser.com/downloads/video/
This page show the video in the Easy Slider module where it won’t open: https://www.capsulaser.com/test-video/On my own website the easy slider stopped working and despite hours of fidding I couldn’t get it to work and so have left of the slider as a feature. There is definitely an issue here.
I would be very grateful if you could please look into this matter.
