1. On general settings Bloglayout i avoidet to show postdate and it works fine. but on categorie-overwiew the date ist shown. How can i hide the date there too?
2. On categorie-overwiew the posts, createt by advanced layoutbuilder dont show any text, just an image and header. The posts, duplicated to enfold from the old site by another theme, show the text too. Where can i order in the advanced linkbuilder, that text appears too?

Thanks, HansApril 3, 2019 at 6:45 am #1086368Hi Hans,
1. Could you post a link to an example page so that we can take a closer look please?
2. When creating posts using the Layout Builder then everything needs to be added to it manually, that includes the excerpt. You can add the text to the excerpt field, if you can’t see that field then please select to show it under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Best regards,
RikardApril 3, 2019 at 4:57 pm #1086618hey Rikard,
thanks for answer but this button “Screen options” (as it is in the dashboard-site “Ansicht anpassen”) i could not find anywhere.
In Private you have link for access to the backend.
in the linked example-post you see the two Problems:
– date shall be hidden
– some posts (created by advanced layout builder) dont show short text.
thank you
HansApril 4, 2019 at 10:43 am #1086963Hi Hans,
Thanks for that.
1. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.archive .slide-meta { display:none; }
2. Please go to the main page of the theme options and select to use the Classic Editor at the bottom of the page, you should see the option after that.
Best regards,
RikardApril 11, 2019 at 1:49 pm #1089551Hi Rikard,
thank you for replay. I was same days in holidays.Point 1. This tag had shown not any effect. The date still is shown.
Point 2. I aktivated “excerpt” on the Site in screen options. Additional in WP settings i chosed in “read – newsfeed” “show Shot text”. But it did not work. So i make the excerpt manually.
April 12, 2019 at 7:34 am #1089921Hi,
Thanks for the update. Where exactly did you place the CSS? I can’t login to your site so I couldn’t check for myself.
Is the problem with the excerpts solved then?
Best regards,
RikardApril 12, 2019 at 1:40 pm #1090061Hello Rikard,
1. the CSS i placed in the CSS-box of general styling. Because it is a dev. domain, probably you have no access by temporary logins. For that i give you the temporary access for “hansimglueck.info” in private. This domain i created last year by am emfold child und there i have the same problem. there i placed the CSS on the same place, also without effect.
by the way:. in deingruen.de i use the parent theme, because of a damaged child, wich in dev.deingruen i am not able to replace. (may be, when the site is running corectly an i change dev, deingruen.de to the regulary site deingruen.de).Point 2. If you have any further hints, i would be glad, bat preliminary i can it resolve manually. so if its a big work, we can close this problem.
Tank you, HansApril 16, 2019 at 7:10 am #1091229Hi,
Thanks for the update.
1.) The files are currently compressed, so you have to toggle the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after adding the css code.
2.) That is exactly what is needed when the advance layout builder is used for the posts. You have to add the excerpt manually.Best regards,
IsmaelApril 19, 2019 at 8:40 pm #1092738hi Ismael,
1. did not show any efect, if i deactivate or activate the css compression. But i resolved it now by a Plugin: wp meta and date remover. Worked automatically. So the problem is resolved.
Thank youApril 20, 2019 at 10:09 am #1092901 -
