VERY DISAPPOINTED with recent purchase

For a product with as many sales as this item has had, i am surprised it is missing such basic functionality.

The templates I have used before have had drag and drop editing, with live previews.

Starting to edit the home page on a site I am preparing, to change something as simple as change the size of an image caption, this editor requires me to:
click the edit button on the easy slider
click the slider to edit click caption
guess at what size will fit best without wrapping
click save
click save
click update
refresh my browser.
repeat if size is not perfect.

Other templates, you click edit, type the text, and you see what you get in real time.

What a waste of time. I sincerely hope I am missing something here and that this is not actually the way that we are expected to edit.
