When editing more complicated pages in the advanced editor I get a 404 error when I try to update/save the page – particularly when adding/editing any element containing an anchor/link. It’s very weird.
I have tried reseting the permalink settings, and eliminated other variables like plugin conflicts and wordpress/enfold theme versions – the buggy behaviour remains.
Any help you could offer to resolve this in a timely manner would be most appreciated!
March 26, 2019 at 10:40 pm #1083284Hey there, is anybody from support going to follow-up?
Am I in some kind of ticket queue or entirely forgotten?March 28, 2019 at 6:54 am #1083944Hi,
We would like to apologize for the delay.
Did you add any custom scripts or snippets to the page? We created a test page in your installation but were not able to reproduce the issue. Is this happening on a particular page? (see private field)
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 28, 2019 at 2:57 pm #1084123Hello and thanks for getting back to me. If you look at the private field from the first email I’ve listed the 3 pages that were the initial cause for concern and good pages to examine and test. One of these I used in the screencast video.
April 1, 2019 at 11:23 pm #1085735Hi,
Sorry about that. We didn’t notice the listed pages. Anyway, we edited those pages and they seem to update properly without errors or redirects. How can we reproduce the issue? (see private field)
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 3, 2019 at 9:49 pm #1086679Huh, that’s the weirdest thing. I had pages I couldn’t save and elements not showing up and all manner of inconsistent buggy behaviour in the more complex pages. Not sure what changes were made but yes things seems to be okay now. Thanks!
