GuestHi everybody,
I just “took over” the suppoirt for a WordPress page which uses the Enfold theme. It’s working with version 3.6.1 which I know is totally outdated.
It seems that after the implementation of the Gutenberg editor in the latest WordPress releases this old Enfold version is not working properly (which is of course no wonder). Existing pages or articles can’t be edited and new content can’t be created. I’m very sure that a new version of Enfold would solve that issue BUT I CAN’T UPDATE – neither automatically nor manually.
The theme updater still works with API nmber and user name, and I learned this routine is also outdated.
Please note:
The former webmaster, who puchased the theme, is no more.My questions:
1. Can you confirm that the current problems can be caused by the old Enfold version?
2. How can I update the Enfold Theme to version 4.5.5?
3. Do I have to purchase a new version of Enfold?
4. If yes, is the 11 $ version sufficient for private use and single license?Any help, appreciated! Thank you very much in advance and best regards,

Thanks for contacting us and clearly explaining the situation.
1- Yes, they are. Enfold version you are currently using is not compatible with your WordPress version and updating the theme would solve these issues.
2- Since the way Envato API work has changed, you would need to update the theme manually and to do that, you would need access to theme files/ThemeForest account which was used to purchase the theme.
3- If you could contact your former webmaster, you could request the latest version of the theme, your purchase code and a Personal Token from them and update the the theme however since this is not the case, i am afraid you may need to purchase a new license.
4- You can purchase a regular license Enfold here.I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions :)
Best regards,

GuestHi Yigit,
thank you very much for your reply! So I guess I need the “standard” 59 $ version of Enfold? And the 11 $ version is what?
Best,
MarcMarch 25, 2019 at 4:03 pm #1082728Hi Marc,
Yes, regular license of Enfold is $59 and we do not have $11 version. Pirate sites might be selling illegal copies for that price so please do not purchase them as you will not receive purchase and access to theme files :)
Best regards,
