The fullscreen slider built with LayerSlider does not show up on my homepage. I have used the fullscreen slider with no problems. I can’t seem to get the Advanced Layerslider to work.
I noticed in the default editor an error saying: This block contains unexpected or invalid content. Furthermore I noticed that the preview function of Enfold does not work properly: it shows parts of old versions. A workaround for this is to use the normal URL’s in the adressbar.
Steps taken trying to solve the LayerSlider problem:
– I have rebuilt the homepage (called Test Home Page), but with the same result. When I use a full screen slider, like now, the slider does appear normally in frontend.
– I have built a new blank page which only has an Advanced LayerSlider (called Test page for Advanced Slider). Now the advanced slider appears normally in the frontend. This is strange. Seems like LayerSlider and Enfold are incompatible? What is the cause of the problem? Is there a fix?
Can you please have a look at the website. Login credentials in the private content field.
Thanx,

https://cl.ly/694e5225be23 Layer Slider up until that version was not really working with the block editor. You need to use the Classic editor option.
Also, the new version of Layer Slider is available in Enfold 4.5.5.

I cannot acces your link, so I don’t know what you mean.
I have generated an Envato Personal token and entered that in Theme update. Although I have granted the token permission for everything I get errors (403). So I cannot update the theme from 4.5.4 to 4.5.5. After a third try I don’t have errors anymore, but there is no update option to go to version 4.5.5.
I have paid good money for both theme and plugin hoping to avoid these kind of problems. I have spent a lot of time trying to get things working.
After checking I see that the LayerSlider plugin is not the latest version. Enfold prevents the plugin from automatically updating! So I removed the plugin from the theme and installed the plugin standalone. Now the plugin is on version 6.8.2.My questions:
1. Is the plugin now properly working with the blockeditor?
2. Will the theme receive it’s update and can I install the updates? My suggestion: put this in the documentation to prevent others from spending a lot of time to get things working.

It was not working with the Block editor, that’s why you need to choose the classic editor in the theme options.
