    Hi,
I guess since yesterday the image on the background of de logo/menu area is not showing. Also the backgroud image of the footer has dissappeared.
    What could be the problem?
I tried another image, I deleted the cache, I cleaned the browser, I tried on several browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
    Thanks.
    Kind regards.

In Chromium the console shows that the browser gets the wrong locations of the images. Two times the domainname.

Go to Enfold (Performance) then in (CSS file merging and compression) set this to (Disable – no CSS file merging and compression)
Still in Performance settings, check (Delete old CSS and JS files) in the end of the page.

    It worked for me

The same thing happens with body backgrounds as well. What is the point of having an option to “CSS file merge and compression” if it just botches things up.

What is the fix for this support gurus? This DOES adversely affect GTMetrix scores by not merging and compressing.

Disabling the CSS file merging and compression works for me too. I hope that it is a temporary solution, a patch. I assume there will be a better solution in a while. Next update?

    Hi Leemshop,

You can enable it again and the issue should be gone.

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,

Victoria, are you saying that it will just work properly by disabling and then re-enabling? How could this be?

    #1082120

Ymcrodos explained to select the option to delete old CSS & JS files. Is this before you re-enable merging and compression?

Kindly provide steps so this works properly and doesn’t destroy anything.

    Hi crtdude,

If deleting the merged css and Javascript files and re-enabling merging did not help, please have it disabled for now.

You will not break anything working within the theme options.

    Best regards,
    Victoria
