Social Share Buttons Not Displaying

Hi
I have set the social share buttons to display on the Blog Layout section in the dashboard.
They do not show on posts.
I try to add the social share element from Advance layout and I get these errors;
Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/simpli95/public_html/mysite.com/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 293

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/simpli95/public_html/mysite.com/wp-includes/post-template.php:293) in /home/simpli95/public_html/mysite.com/wp-admin/post.php on line 222

I disable the share buttons on the dashboard and try inserting the element again – still same error.
I am positive these were working before the last WP update.
I am using Yoast plugin but was also using that before this error.
I have the Blog Layout property set to “use the advanced layout editor……”
