    I need to update my enfold theme from 4.4.1 to 4.5.4.
    I tried updating it automatically, which failed. I tried uploading a new theme, which failed because it said the folder already existed.
    I read the threads about using the Update themes and plugins from zip file plugin, but I am concerned that the process will erase my existing them and all of its settings. Will I have to recustomize my theme if I use this method? I did not create a child theme originally.
    Please advise.

    Hey auroradesignstudio,

    If you’re worried about the settings in the theme option, you can export them, do the update and then import the theme options again.

    Other than that everything should be fine.
