    I’m having an issue with blog displays

    My client wants his blogs to all look consistent in the listing view before someone clicks on “read more” to land on the actual blog article.

    For some reason, some of the articles behave correctly and some don’t show any excerpt at all, just a “read more” link. I checked all I could and can’t find why this is happening. Please advise.

    Hi,

    are you using the advanced layout editor for the blog pages? If so have you added an excerpt to each of them?

    Do you have a link you can provide?

    @graphicwise     sorry for the late reply, I looked at your page and it looks like all of the posts are similar in length, perhaps you have already resolved this, but what you are describing sounds like the difference between advanced layout builder posts and Classic Editor posts. Like @DigitalEssence was explaining, you can add manual excerpts to the advanced layout builder posts. Many people choose to use the advanced layout builder on pages to take advantage of the elements, and use the Classic Editor on posts so all posts are uniform.
