Hi, is there a way to customize the content of a lightbox popup. So under the Link Settings for an image I’ve set it to open in a Lightbox and then what appears is a large view of the image appears with its title text below.
I would love to modify the look of this popup so it appears more like:
– Image on the left
– Text block on the right (with additional text other than just Image Title)
– Even possibly a button beneath the text block
Overall I’m just wondering if there’s any way to modify how image lightbox popups appear.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hey JoeSurf,
It’s not possible by default through the Layout Builder but we might be able able to give you some custom code to use. Is this for the site in private?
Best regards,
Rikard
Thanks Rikard. That would be awesome if you could pass along some custom code to modify an image Lightbox. I’ve linked to the site in private I’m working on, and specifically the page with the images that I’m hoping to generate this modified Lightbox/Pop-Up for.
Thanks for all the help!
Hi,
Thanks for that, though I’m not sure which element triggers the popup on the page?
Best regards,
Rikard
Apologies Rikard, I hand’t set the images to generate a Lightbox/Pop-Up. I just went ahead and did so for the image labeled “Swim Fins.” My goal is to replicate a modified version of this pop-up for each of the item images that follow it.
Hi,
Those options are not available in the theme’s lightbox by default, but you may be able to find those features on another lightbox plugin. This list might help.
