Hi,
I have updated my theme to 4.5.4 but I am facing some issues;
1. Can not validate my personal token ( have also tried in incognito mode and different browsers)
error message I get…
Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato:
Purchases could not be accessed
Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
Following errors occured:
cURL error 7: Failed to connect to api.envato.com port 443: Connection timed out
cURL error 7: Failed to connect to api.envato.com port 443: Connection timed out
cURL error 7: Failed to connect to api.envato.com port 443: Connection timed out
Purchases: A problem occured accessing your purchases. Unable to check for updates.2. I am not able to edit pages, (have set up classic editor) the page loads with avia layout builder but when I click on text or img nothing happens.
Can you please help me with this asap.

Did you make sure that you have given the correct permissions to your token? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-5. If that doesn’t work then please try to contact your hosting provider, it might be that they are blocking the connection or that something additional needs to be activated on the server.

Could you please help asap with the editing capabilities, why is the editing not working? I can’t change text the page loads with Avia builder but when clicking on elements it does nothing… I can add new elements but can’t edit them!!!
I have changed the editor to “Classic Editor” in the main Enfold theme page, also tried with and without Classic Editor plug-n with no result.
I have tried different browsers and different systems it is not working. Please take a look at this, admin login name and password is as above.Thanks

Thanks for the update, I get the same problem on my end. Did you try to disable all plugins to see if there is a conflict coming from any of them? If that doesn’t help then please try to delete and upload the theme again, something might have been corrupted while updating. Make sure that you have backups of the site before doing anything to the site.

I have deactivated all plugins and also deleted & uploaded the theme but still same problem, edting is not working!! could you please fix this as we need to make changes to the website and we are stuck….Thanks,

Thanks for the update. This is not a general problem with the theme, it’s local to your installation so all we can do is to try to debug the problem step by step. Are we allowed to disable plugins in order to test and verify that it’s not a plugin conflict?
Did you reach out to your hosting provider to fix the cURL problem? It could be relate to the editing problem.

Yes you can disable plugins, I will also contact the hosting provider to find out more about this.

Thanks for the update. I’ve tried disabling all plugin but it seems like that it’s not a plugin conflict. There are several error messages when trying to edit a page though, like the one in private for instance. Maybe you could try to forward that to your hosting provider?

I have managed to validate the token now and also updated to the lastest version of Enfold but unfortunately the editing is still not working, also we contacted the hosting but there is nothing they can do about this, this is a theme issue please advise asap.

We found the following code in the avia_modal.js file, which is not supposed to be there. (see private field)
Did you add that code? Please get a fresh copy of the config-templatebuilder > avia-template-builder > assets > js > avia_modal.js file and replace the current one.
Where is the site hosted?
