Hi
We are implementing a new website where we use posts.
On every post we show fife other posts at the bottom with pagionation because there are more than fife.
Unfortunately the links of this pagination buttons do not workIt’s very strange, probably a bug?
See example link and login in the private content section.
Thanks for a fast help.

MikeMarch 3, 2019 at 7:19 pm #1074003Hey Michael,
Sorry for the late reply, the dev team has looked into this and reports that WP 5.1 changed the return value of a function _wp_link_page which breaks our pagination link. They said to replace /enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php
with this file
please keep a backup of the original file while you test.
Please let us know if this helps.Best regards,
MikeMarch 4, 2019 at 12:25 pm #1074323Hi Mike
Thanks for your response.
I replaced the file. Now the links work, but they are still wrong because they show not to the same page. See private content.
I think, this will be fixed in a later version of Enfold?
Best regards
MikeMarch 6, 2019 at 6:51 am #1075311Hi,
I researched this some more and started writing out a new bug report, but I realized that I didn’t test the newest patch on your site that has solved a couple of different issues. So please include FTP access in the Private Content area so I can try uploading this too. If it doesn’t help the dev team will want to know.Best regards,
MikeMarch 21, 2019 at 11:48 am #1081344WHEN there will be an update for this bug???
And WHY do you close this topic, when it is still not resolved for me???

What a BAD support.

MikeMarch 21, 2019 at 1:12 pm #1081366Hi,
Sorry my mistake, I thought the person that opened the thread said it was solved. Anyways the new version is out now please try updating.Best regards,
MikeMarch 21, 2019 at 1:20 pm #1081373Hi Mike
Both problems (this here and this with the shorcode which you closed) do still not work with Enfold 4.5.5
For both you have links to the website and also a login to look into it.
Please let me know, if you need more.

MikeMarch 22, 2019 at 5:10 am #1081720Hi,
I tried to recreate your error on a new page but the pagination works there correctly, so I then tried changing your blog element on the 2016-2018 page and the error contenued. I then copied your 2016-2018 page as a template and applied to to the test page, but there was no error. I thought that perhaps that because your page was numbers instead of words that it had a bearing on the error, so I created another test page using only numbers, but again the error didn’t occur.
I then deleted all of the content from your 2016-2018 page and saved and then used the template to re-build it, but the error was there again.
I noticed that your page doesn’t have the option “Page attributes” that all of the new pages have:
I checked your screen option but it was not an option. So I believe that there is an error in the structure of the page.
Please try deleting this page completely and then creating a new page from strach using the template I created to see if that solves.
Please see the links to the two test page that do not have this error.Best regards,
MikeMarch 22, 2019 at 11:27 am #1081795Hi
I tryed to create an empty new blog post and then I copied the content of the template made by you into it.
Here there is still the same error.
The page pagination should be like this:
https://gcst.ch/2016-2018/1/
https://gcst.ch/2016-2018/2/
https://gcst.ch/2016-2018/3/But it is:
It seems, that your solution to completely create the page new only works for pages, but not for blog posts!
Please look again into it.
See the new created blog post in the private content.
March 22, 2019 at 2:05 pm #1081836Hi,
Thanks for your feedback, we kept talking about “pages” that I missed that it was a “post”, sorry German is not my native language.
Anyways, I summited a bug report with this information to the dev team so they can reproduce the error and investigate a solution.
They may post here directly, if they don’t I will post their findings here for you.
Thank you for your patience.Best regards,
MikeMarch 22, 2019 at 2:41 pm #1081851Hi Mike
No problem ;-)
Hope, the developer team will find a solution soon ;-)
Also for the problem with the shortcodes it would be nice to have a solution as soon as possible.

MikeMarch 23, 2019 at 3:11 am #1082059Hi,
I was able to open your shortcode topic. Are you able to create a staging site so we can investigate your shortcode issue without affecting your site traffic?
We should test the shortcodes without your custom plugin activated so we can isolate the issue.Best regards,
MikeMarch 23, 2019 at 4:59 pm #1082141Hi
It’s no problem that you test it with this page, because the plugin is not finished yet and so not active, only for testing o the page mentionned.
Can you please test it on this website? ;-)
Best regards

NikkoMarch 27, 2019 at 2:41 pm #1083630Hi Nikko
We installed the latest Enfold version 4.5.5, but it still does not work, the pagnation is wrong.
But as I mentionned, the problem is not on pages (there it works), is it on post entries. Please fix this also for post entries.

MikeApril 2, 2019 at 12:39 pm #1086050Hi,
Good news the dev team believes this will help, please see the link in the Private Content area to two files, and upload them to your FTP to these locations:/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/blog/blog.php /enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php
Be sure to save the original files as backup, Then clear your browser cache and any cache plugin or server cache, and check if this solves.
Best regards,
