I’ve come across an issue with Enfold and Yoast SEO breaking restoring a revision. This is when editing a Page and using the ‘Blog Posts’ element. When trying to restore to a previous revision, I am redirected to a seemingly random post and it sometimes replaces the page’s content with that of the post I’ve been redirected to.
I’ve reproduced this on a fresh WordPress install as follows:
– Installed a fresh copy of WordPress 5.0.3 and Removed all plugins
– Installed Enfold (4.5.3)
– Installed Enfold Child and activated it as the main theme
– Install Yoast SEO 9.6
To reproduce the issue:
1. Create a new page and using the Advanced layout editor, add a ‘Blog Posts’ content element. Add a text element as well and enter some text.
2. Publish the page and make some changes to the text again and Update it a few times to create some revisions.
3. Try to restore one of the previous revisions.
From what I can tell the issue only happens when using a Blog Posts element and when Yoast SEO is activated.
Hey Paul,
Please update on latest version of our theme ( published yesterday ) and let us know if those issues are solved as we have pushed some updates for this compatibility.
Best regards,
Basilis
Many thanks, I can now confirm this has fixed the issue.
