February 11, 2019 at 1:28 am #1065250Hey bbly1956,
Thanks for giving us admin access, I have checked your site and could not see the issue.
Can you give us steps on how we can reproduce it?Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 11, 2019 at 5:05 am #1065275Thanks Nikko for the reply.
I uploaded the Enfold folder using the Word Press dashboard from the themes section. When I clicked preview it could not be found then,
When I clicked to activate Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme the site became inaccessible so I could no longer get to the wp-admin or dashboard from Word Press.
I contacted my service provider and they helped to access the site till I could access the themes to activate the template I had been using. They created a path for front page then admin till I could access themes.
I have not tried to activate the Enfold site again for fear it would replicate the same problem. I have installed many WP templates and have experience with CMS since the 90’s. I am concerned about this install as losing access is something we don’t want to replicate.Word Press was updated to the latest version. How can we resolve this?February 12, 2019 at 6:23 am #1065783Hi,
Thanks for the update, so your site became inaccessible when you activated Enfold? Would you be able to copy the site to a staging site and activate it there first so that we can see the error happening?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 12, 2019 at 8:03 pm #1066088Hi Rikard,
Let’s try to stay on this thread. After working with my ISP I can now see the preview for the template in the Themes section which was not available previously. Perhaps the upload had not completed when I activated. I was not planning to set up a staging site to check for an error on this site.
I am going to review the documentation for setting up features. I will try to activate after reviewing documentation, during an off hour. If I have challenges with documentation I will set up another site. Grateful if you can review the install. The WP login information is provided below.
February 13, 2019 at 7:29 am #1066307Hi,
Thanks for the update and login details, so the preview is working as it should now? What exactly do you need us to check on your site? I see that you have the Visual Composor plugin installed, if you are not planning to use that on the site then I would recommend that you uninstall that.
Best regards,
Rikard -
