    Hi there,

I have Enfold installed on various sites and one by one upgrade them as instructed via FTP and then change the API key to the API token from theme forest and they all seem to work fine. (I have not taken the plunge to WordPress 5.0 – they all run on 4.9).

This particular site is the only one running on WP engine and when I upgrade via FTP the site turns blank. I have upgraded PHP to 7.2, downloaded the very latest installable file from theme forest the rust is always the same. I cannot get back to the dashboard or anything. The only way is to revert to a back up and it will seems to work again – the current version off Enfold there is/was 4.2.

I am asking WP Engine for help as well, but so far, no solution.

I am leaving it blank for now, but that means the site is down – I need to be able to upgrade at some point

I found this post and followed the solution to rename the PHP file and it seems to work: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/help-after-updating-to-4-3-2-broken-sites/

    Hi,

Great, glad you found that solution. The reason why it’s happening is because a file has moved between your old and new version.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
