Hello,
I’m including two issues in the same post, as they might be connected. First, when the site was not automatically forwarding from HTTP to HTTPS, there was an error popping up on the HTTP site. The error was:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /nfs/c08/h01/mnt/118365/domains/phiventuresltd.com/html/index.php:1) in /nfs/c08/h01/mnt/118365/domains/phiventuresltd.com/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1223
I’ve now fixed it to never show the HTTP site via a plugin, but I wanted to check to see if this error should be looked into. Or can I just ignore it as the HTTPS site is working fine.
A bigger issue is that when I go into any page or post in WordPress to edit it, I cannot save changes or it looks like I can’t. I get an error saying “Updating Failed”, but it keeps trying to save afterwards and the sometimes the changes are saved. This isn’t all the time though.
Thank you,
Nathan
Hey wallaceimedia,
I’m not sure about your SSL issue, but if the site is working as it should using it then I don’t think you need to spend more time on it.
About your saving problems; what happens if you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options?
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Switching to classic editor worked! Thank you for that :)
Understood about the error, I’ll leave it for now and watch for it popping up on the HTTPS site.
Cheers,
Nathan
