Slider with photos no longer starts automatically

Hey Basilis,

we’ve been working with Enfold/Wordpress for a few weeks to volunteer to create a website for our village.
We both have IT background, but only mediocre knowledge for this purpose. Learning by doing.

Since approx. Mid-January 2019, a photo slider, which has always been perfectly automatic until now, no longer starts automatically.
You only see a white area and no controls.
If you set “autorotation” to “no”, you also see this white area, but at least then the controls appear when you move the cursor and then you can flip through the photos manually.

I have spent many, many hours to find errors in the settings.
I have updated Enfold and reinstalled WordPress. I checked the browser settings and tried again – also to learn about it.
In the Kriesi Support Forum I have found quite a few matching entries, but unfortunately no solution to our problem.

many thanks for your suggestions !

As recommended I at first disabled two active plugins.
The following test unfortunately didn’t show any effect on our foto slider.

Then I disabled compression of CSS- and JS-files without effect.

At the end I deleted old CSS- and JS-files.
Again without any effect.

We hope for a solution because showing single fotos, foto sliders and things like that should of course be elementary for our website.

that’s great – Thank you so much !

The photo slider now works as well as it did at the beginning.

On the one hand only a harmless mistake on my part.
On the other hand we are about to migrate from http://www.räbke.de to http://www.raebke.de just because of expected errors and problems with our German umlaut.

That’s a bit funny too…
