Hello, I get the following message when configuring my site. I do understand the reason. However, everything seems to work perfectly. Can this message be ignored?

This page is currently selected to be displayed as custom 404 page. (Set in Enfold » Theme Options). Therefore it can not be accessed directly by the general public in your frontend. (Logged in users who are able to edit the page can still see it in the frontend)

    Regards,

    Eric

    Hey ideasbyeb,

Where are you seeing the message?

Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hello,

I’m working on my website and the message is shown again. I’ve made a screenshot and saved it locally. How can this be send to you?
I’ve protected my public_html folder with a password. Maybe that influences the functionality of working with the theme …?

    Regards,
    Eric

    Hi Eric,

Could you try to activate the custom 404 functionality in the theme options, then select the very top option which is not a page. Then save and deactivate the custom 404 page again to see if that helps please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

Ofcourse this works. However, I want that a visitor is redirected to the home page in case a wrong url was entered. So, I selected the home page again as 404-page and the error message appears again. By the way, I’m using the Enfold Child Theme.
    The problem still exists.

    Regards,

    Eric

    Hi,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis
