    Dear Kriesi,

in the therms of the regular licence it is stated: If you are a freelancer / agency using the item for a single end product for one client. The license would in effect be transferred to the client.

My question is: HOW the licence is transferred to my client after I set up his website? So I buy the regular licence in Envato, set up everything on my client’s behalf and sell the website to my client.

I found: Once you transfer the end product to the client (eg giving them source files for the item), be sure to link your client to our licenses and delete the item itself from your computer.

What is meant by linking the client to your licences? And why should I give him the source files for the item – if the source files anyway are on his hosters servers (or is this exactly what it means??)
Sorry but I am a little bit confused how to handle this the propper way without annoying clients with registration, buying or something.

Would it be okay, to just set up Websites with Enfold (every single website with a new regular licence), and charge the client afterwards for the work done?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey TanSmi,
Sorry for the late reply, yes that would be fine, I believe the confusion in the language is that Envato tries to write it for all types of products that they sell.
Most developers do it the way that you have described.

    Best regards,
    Mike
