    Hi

    For ages my preloader has been working smoothly.
    Suddenly yesterday where the preloader loads there is a place holder, the preloader image and
    often the words ‘loading’ appear too which doesn’t look good.
    I’ve tried deleting the image and re-uploading it.
    Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

    Hey Sujohn,

    Was there an update of any kind?

    Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

    I have tried de-activating all the plugins with no luck.
    I cleared all clear all caches before started and did the test in an incognito window.
    I then purged all caches before I started turning the plugins on again one by one.
    I couldn’t see any change in the behaviour.

    If it is any help I have now set up a staging site to try and nail this issue without damaging the live site.

    You can close this thread now.
    You were right it was a plugin.
    The offending plugin was lazy load by WP Rocket.
