    Hi, we recently updated our site to WordPress 5 and had some trouble with the editor since. It was not working at all at first.
    I managed to update to Enfold 4.5.2 and that solved the issue for a couple of pages, but some, more complex designs get stuck showing the loading icon.

    We managed to get a few pages updated with the standard editor, writing the code ourselves, but with bigger changes and more complex layouts it is not really possible anymore.

    403 is the request is blocked on the server.

    Hi Victoria,

    Thanks for the suggestion. We changed the php configuration and default-constants to the suggested values, but no change.

    You can check the settings with the WP Server Stats plugin.

    Is there something else we can try?

    Aha! We fixed it. The 403 forbidden got me thinking… maybe the WordFence Firewall is blocking it. And it was. :)

    I set the Firewall to learning mode and the issue was resolved.
