    I am trying to display a full width sub-menu on the About Us and sub pages but I can’t get it to work!

    When I use the sidebar settings, I get a sub menu appearing but when I switch it to fullwidth it acts like the top menu -i.e. you only see About US and have to mouse over About Us in the sub menu to view the other pages – not great!

    Can you explain step by step how I can get this to work… I want it to look like the main menu structure i.e. horizontal…it would look so much better than the sidebar menu in my opinion and there would be less wasted space on each page.

    I assume it is something quite simple but I am not a developer and doing my best to follow work things out my self but the has me stumped!

    Hey tapintoit,

    If you want all the menu elements on a single line then you would have to edit the menu itself under Appearance->Menus and make sure that they are all top level elements.

    I have just tried it and it doesn’t then highlight the page that you are on?

    So if we are on Annual Reports – the sub menu in the horizontal position doesn’t highlight the Annual Report link so it is not clear that you are on that page other than the fact that the H1 heading …. How do you work around that?

    Do I have to do something in appearances again?

    Please spell it out in easy steps as I am not a developer just a volunteer….

    Hi tapintoit,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    
#menu-social-enterprise .current-menu-item .avia-menu-text {
    color: red;
}
