I am having issues with sidebars after the recent Guttenberg update, they were working fine before, but now if I do an edit on a page the sidebar no longer displays, I am using a colour section at the top of the page with content underneath like text for example, this worked before – showing a sidebar under the first color section, I have tried the alternative method of using a widget with the sidebar within a widget in a colour section but this does not work either, I have disabled all plugins, reuploaded the latest version of enfold via FTP, etc, I think there is a bug that needs to be fixed urgently with enfold
December 26, 2018 at 3:57 pm #1049084Hey jezza1961,
Have you tried to set the editor in theme options to use wp Classic Editor?
Go to Enfold > Theme Options > Select Your Editor > Use WP Classic Editor and save.
Let us know if this helps.Best regards,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Thanks for the login details and sorry for the late reply, I’m not sure what is going wrong unfortunately. I see that you are running a caching plugin, could you try to clear the cache from that and leave it deactivated to see if that makes any difference please? When to not use a caching plugin.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 31, 2019 at 8:25 am #1060823Hi Rikard, I have tried that already, on the staging area I deactivated all plugins to see if there was any conflicts
February 1, 2019 at 10:09 pm #1061726Hi jezza1961,
You have the header.php file in your child theme, did you have it updated with a fresh copy?
Best regards,
VictoriaFebruary 2, 2019 at 8:24 am #1061901Hi Victoria
I just updated it with the latest version of header.php but that has not resolved the issue, on the staging area I tested changing from the child theme to the regular theme and this also did not resolve the issue
Kind Regards
Jeremy

There were a lot of unclosed html tags like h1 and divs in your code blocks, which broke the page. Please be careful with html tags. ( see private field )
