Hi guys,
I’m using a Google map in the middle of a long one page site. Now I love the way all Enfold animations start when they enter the viewport. Unfortunately the Google maps markers animate on page load, so you don’t see them when my long one page site loads. Is there a way to let the Google maps marker animation start when they enter the viewport, just like the Enfold animations?December 18, 2018 at 12:02 am #1046637Hey graphicsplus,
Can you give us a link to your site? especially the page you’re referring, so we can check further.
You can post the link in private content, if you only want it to be seen by moderators.Best regards,

I was expecting you to say nothing can be changed in the Google API, but the fact you’re willing to look into it is hopeful. I’ve added the link in private content. As you’ll notice the six headings at the top of the page and all buttons have an animation going up as they enter the viewport. But the markers on the Google map halfway down the page have already animated on page load when you eventually scroll down to them. So they do not animate when they enter view. It would be fun to have that animation there as well.

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I see what you meant and have tried it a few times however I couldn’t make it to work, though it’s not impossible but would take some time to do and is outside the scope of our support.
The only thing I can do though is to point you to the right direction but it requires you to have knowledge with google map api and javascript.
You’ll need to modify google_maps.php (found in enfold > config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > google_maps folder) and create a custom js script in functions.php.
For the custom script you’ll most likely need to use waypoints js: http://imakewebthings.com/waypoints/ which is already in the theme.
I hope this helps.Best regards,

Glad to hear that. :)
I hope you’ll figure out how to achieve it, you can try to check on some forums for some ideas.
Thanks again for using Enfold and Advanced Merry Christmas!Best regards,
