    Hi Guys,
    I have a strange phenomenon on a page (luckily) set on PRIVATE. For reasons of clarity, I have set the content of the page in a sortable accordion. Everything worked wonderfully.

    Now my client wanted me to customize the tags according to his needs (new ones, rename others, new toggles, etc.)

    … Now the Accordion disappears completely from the backend and frontend when I update the page !!!

    Is this a bug or is there a limit to the number of tags and toggles?

    Each time I have to restore an old revision (2 days ago) and enter all changes (frustrating!).
    Help would be appreciated.

    P.S .: In the meantime I have just updated UpdraftPlus and Contact Forms (also need to change ReCaptcha to v3) … which I can rule out as the cause.

    Hallo Leute,
    Ich hab jetzt einen ganz seltsamen Bug. Ich hab auf einer (zum Glück) noch auf PRIVAT gestellten Seite ein seltsames Phänomen. Ich hab aus Gründen der Übersichtlichkeit den Content der Seite in ein sortierbares Accordeon gesetzt. Hat alles wunderbar funktioniert.

    Jetzt wollte mein Kunde, dass ich die Tags nch seinen Wünschen anpasse (neue dazu, andere umbenennen, neue Toggles, usw.)

    …nur verschwindet jetzt das Accordion komplett aus dem Backend und Frontend wenn ich die Seite aktualisiere!!!

    Ist das ein Bug oder gibt es ein Limit für die Anzahl von Tags und Toggles?

    Ich muss jedesmal die Revision von vor 2 Tagen wiederherstellen und alle Änderungen (zum x-ten mal erfolglos) eintragen.
    Wo liegt da der Hund begraben? Bitte um Hilfe.

    P.S.: Hab zwischenzeitlich lediglich ein Update von UpdraftPlus und Contact Forms durchgeführt (dabei auch ReCaptcha auf v3 ändern müssen)… was ich aber als Ursache eigentlich ausschließen kann.

    Hey Guys!

    ….No idea?

    I tried to reproduce the issue on another TEST-site with just an accordion (also set on Private). Everything is fine there….

    But on the site “HVB_neu” I realised that I do not even have to change a thing (just opening and saving accordion causes the error) – when I update the site, the accordion is gone! WTF!!!

    When I make an exact copy of the page (by saving it as a template and using the template on another TEST site) it is also showing this strange behaviour.

    Really strange!!!!

    Help is really appreciated, because the client is waiting for the changes….

    Hey Guys,

    Solved the Issue on my own. Don´t know what it was. It´s still mysterious.

    I tried out an older revision (just 30min older than the revision I tried to edit before) and SURPRISE … everything worked fine again and I was able to change the toggles and tags and it was still there after updating the site.

    I kept the non-working version on a site called TEST (if you want to look for the mysterious bug) – there the bug is still reproduceable.

    …. but for me everything is good again :-)

    …. and my client didn´t notice

    Hi GePu,

    Thanks for the update and I’m glad that you got it working again. Could you check if there is any open html markup just before the disappearing element? If so then that is the likely reason of that happening.

    Thanx for looking into it. I just don´t know how to do. Do you mean in the backend or frontend version of the site, and what exactly I should search for? Sorry, but I really don´t know how to check for it.

    Hi GePu,

    Properly closed markup looks like this:

    <strong>Bold text closed properly</strong>

    So you would look for any content which might look like this:

    <strong>Bold text closed properly

    Note that the last example has a missing closing tag for the bold text.

    Hi Rikard,
    Thank you for your patience. I finally found the incorrect markup.

    Somehow </div></section> was placed wrong by the avia layout builder I guess, because I didn´t touch any code. I always use the visual editor.
