Hello everyone!
Here in California there are some very litigious people. They are going around suing businesses for not having websites that are AFB (Americans Foundation for the Blind) compatible – meaning there are legal requirements that websites have certain capabilities to accomodate the visually impaired.
Here’s a summary:
I managed a test using a Chrome plugin (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/siteimprove-accessibility/efcfolpjihicnikpmhnmphjhhpiclljc?hl=en-US) and I’m seeing some opportunities for Kriesi themes (I use Enfold) to help improve this and make it so we don’t get sued.
I have a lot of work ahead to fix dozens of websites….. Anyone have Intel on this issue and how we can get through it painlessly?
Hey kellyCraftMedia,
Thank you for bringing this up. I’ll forward this to Kriesi.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi Victoria! Just curious if you’ve heard any feedback from Kriesi about the compliance issues with the theme.
Thanks!
Hi kellyCraftMedia,
I did not have any feedback yet, unfortunately.
Best regards,
Victoria
