Hi,
we are selling antique wood surfaces. In Germany the measurement of surfaces is sqare meter (“m2”). In Germany there is no measurement unit for surface size below one sqare meter that is accepted and known by our customers.
One sqare meter is a quite big space. We found out that most or our customers do not order via the webshop, because if they do so in morst cases they have to pay for more than they need.
Example: A customer needs 2.2 sqare meters of one product that costs €130 per sqare meter. The purchase price for that quantity is 2.2 * 130€ = 286€. But the steps between 2 and 3 square meters are not available. So they feel forced to buy 3 sqare meters for a purchase price of 3 * 130 = 390€. That means paying 104€ more than they need. As a consquence they leave our shop, but not only that: They leave us and don’t come back.
It’s essential for our webshop that we can sell quantities in steps below one sqare meter. A quantity step of “0.1” would be a perfect solution for us.Our Website:
http://www.kulturholz.netAt first I tried to do this with plugins available for wordpress / woocommerce:
– The “Woocommerce advanced quantity plugin” available on Codecanion ist not compatible with Enfold. I tested it myself and it’s confirmed by the support of this plugin.
– The “Quantities and units for Woocommerce plugin” is deprecated since three years and the last available version is not compatible with Enfold. So it’s not possible to solve this using a plugin.
Could you please help us to configure quantity steps “0.1” that work in the product and in the cart section when using Enfold?
In the Enfold forum there are three contributions to this topic, but they all don’t come to a solution that works with the actual Enfold theme (version 4.5.1).

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,
