Hi,
after the manual trouble with the 4.5 big thing update, the next update 4.5.1. even also wont work automatically…
Tested with serveral installations using already 4.5. enfold version with the new token.
Hope that’s not what it should be, or?regards
chrisDecember 6, 2018 at 4:33 pm #1041727I have the same problem. I then tried to update it with FTP, copied all the files, but once it was done, the site was broken.
December 6, 2018 at 6:36 pm #1041778Update: now some hours later the ”check manual” fuction works in enfold and the automatic update from 4.5. to 4.5.1. works fine.
December 6, 2018 at 6:44 pm #1041784update to linortek: i have made good experience with the ”Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File” plugin which was a recommendation here in enfold support to manage the manual step to version 4.5. It also works for 4.5.1. as well…
December 6, 2018 at 6:53 pm #1041787Thanks for the information! I now have updated successfully with that plugin very easy.
December 6, 2018 at 7:00 pm #1041790I just updated from the dashboard (automatically) on my staging site from 4.5 to 4.5.1 and it worked fine. Hosting is WP Engine.
December 6, 2018 at 7:23 pm #1041794Hey!
@username_envato Glad it worked! :)
@linortek manual update should not be necessary. Please check with your hosting provider and ask if there is some sort of firewall that might be blocking api.envato.com.
@goldengate415 Thanks for your feedback :)Cheers!
YigitDecember 6, 2018 at 9:06 pm #1041834My update was there for a bit, and now I can’t get it to come back manually at all?
December 6, 2018 at 9:44 pm #1041846Hey,
@illingco Please flush browser cache and try checking for update manually. If it still does not show up, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach temporary admin logins in private content field so we can look into it :)Regards,
YigitDecember 6, 2018 at 9:50 pm #1041848I can do that, but here is the error message for this thread to see in case anyone else ran into this…

Thanks for sharing, did you manage to get the update working though?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 7, 2018 at 4:22 pm #1042096I got it to go through the WordPress update panel on one staging site now. Had to clear cache to get text blocks to be visually edited instead of blank. Same thing with page previews.
