    Hi,

    I’m aware of the fact that this error was posted several times before. But, the solutions offered in those issues seems to not work in my case.
    After a new fresh install of WordPress and installing the latest version of Enfold, everything works fine untill I set the “frontpage” to a static page. It does not matter if I use the option via the Enfold menu, or via the default WordPress setting, in all cases it results in the “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” error. When I clear the frontpage, the homepage works (but, I doens’t result in the page I want to be the homepage :)

    I don’t have extra plugins installed, and deactivated the one that was already there.

    Are there any possibilities left..?

    Hey Sjoerd,

    Thanks for the login details. What happens if you select standard under Settings->Permalinks and save, then select the format you want and save again. After that you could try to set your front page again.

    hi Rikard,

    It does work, a bit. Only when I leave the permalink setting to ‘default’, the homepage is shown normally. After setting the permalink to another option, the ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error occurs again..

    Do you know other solutions?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update, then there’s probably some problem with the permalinks/.htaccess. Could you try to delete the .htaccess file in the root folder or your WordPress installation then try to change/save the permalinks again please?

    I contacted the hosting provider and they gave an alternative code snippet for the config-file. It seems to work now..!
