    Hello,
    I’m using enfold 4.5 with the plugin “the events calendar” (TEC)(and it’s pro version) by modern Tribe. Version 4.6.26.1. Link to plugin here
    When TEC is setup properly (needing a google API key as well to show venue locations) and when TEC is activated within WordPress Admin, ANY AND ALL google resources error out. (e.g. contact page with location map)

    The moment TEC is disabled as a plugin, Enfold & its associated API key resume working..
    Links to currently “broken” environment provided privately.
    Issue has been present since at least Enfold 4.3 (earliest purchased version).

    Leaving the TEC API section blank will fall to load google maps for venue, so no “global api support”, meaning I still have to have an API key present in both Enfold>settings & TEC>settings.

    The keys can be the same or different, it doesn’t matter.

    Help please?

    Hey fbsd44,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Hi fbsd44,

    I apologize for the late response.
    I have checked your site and the contact page google map seems to be loading fine though it has those “for development only” watermarks, is this the issue you’re referring?
    I also tried to change to default wordpress theme for a moment to check the differences in the Trainer Academy event but it doesn’t seem to have any difference.
    Also, trying to disable the TEC plugin doesn’t make any difference on my end. Can you give some instructions with some screenshots, maybe I just missed what you’re referring.
    There are 2 enfold themes in Appearance > Themes, please remove the older one as having 2 enfold themes, sometimes causes issues, if you need to keep a copy, you may try to move the old enfold theme to the wp-content folder via ftp.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
    That is the exact problem.
    if you look at the error message, it’s because the api key isn’t being supplied, because both plugins conflict.
    by disabling TEC, no more error.

    Hi fbsd44,

    I have checked it and noticed that the problem is one of the API keys you have.
    I replaced it with the other one and it works fine now.
    You should see the API key in private content, I’ve listed the one that works and one that causes the issue.
