    Dear Kriesi,
I have a problem. I moved my local installation of a website to a live server and now I noticed, that it is not possible to upload pictures anymore! Meaning, everything that was already uploaded before, I can still use, but if I upload a new picture, it isn’t shown.
Can you help me please? The website is still on Maintenance Mode as it isn’t finished yet, but I will attach login credentials.
    Thanks, TanSmi

    Dear guys,
the problem is solved – no need for further assistance needed.

Anyway – if anyone has a similar problem I can tell you what was the solution for me (which my hoster told me):
    – Filezilla open wp-content
    – right click on “upload”
    – change rights to 755
    – activate that subfolders are included – click OK
    – then open every subfolder of “upload” folder and choose all the images with right click and change rights for every file to 640

This did the trick for me – hope it helps,

    Regards TanSmi
