    css changes in enfold-child are not visible in frontend

    I have uloaded enfold-cild folder via ftp, but any change I make there is not visible in front end of the site. If I add a change in the extra css field in the customizer in WordPress CMS then the change will be visible.
    For example: .footer_color {background-color: red;}

    But adding css changes in the extra css files is not what I want. I would like to be able to use the enfold-child css folder.
    Please help asap, I have looked several times at the support forum but no solution for me sofar.
    Should I add lines to the php file too ? Now there’s only <?php

    Can you please advice. I had uploaded my login credentials already a few days ago, but I haven’t received a reply yet. Maybe I forget something?

    Hi!

    There was an error in the way you commented in Style.css file of your child theme. I fixed it. You should comment as following 

    /* Here goes your comment */

    Please review your website.

    Dear Yigit

    Thank you for the quick reply . I saw the change but to test it now I have changed the colour back to black (instead of red, just to test ) saved, uploaded in filezilla, refreshed the page and it doesn’t change on the front end. What could be wrong. Thanks again in advance
