    Hi,

    The main menu is not appearing on my archive pages.
    It appears correctly on my pages and posts.
    I need it on my category archives.
    The private content field below contains links to pages that work, and category archives where it doesn’t work.

    Hi, I wondered if the problem is because I have a category hierarchy, with many parent categories and sub categories.

    Thanks for that, I’m not sure why the menu is not showing though. I see that you are using a plugin called Archive Control, what exactly is that doing and what do you use it for?

    Hi Rikard,

    The plug-in you ask about “Archive Control” was installed long after the menus went missing from the category archive pages.

    The archive control plug-in is adding a text field on the Parent Archive pages, but this was added about four days ago, and the menus have been missing from the archive pages for more than a week.

    I think the menus first disappeared from the category archive pages when I organised the category heirarchy. In other words when I assigned categories to Parent categories.

    I’m pretty desperate to get this fixed, my client is getting annoyed.
