    Hello,
    I followed your instructions and installed the plugin to update Enfold.
    But even having a 128 MB PHP Max Upload Size I got the following error message when updating.
    “Request Entity Too Large
    The requested resource
    /wp-admin/update.php
    does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.”

    Any idea to help me solve the problem?

    Hey turistai,

    Sorry for the problem. We can do the update for you if you post admin WordPress login and FTP login details in private. Also please verify that you have backups of the site in case something should go wrong.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update, I tried updating via WordPress but it seems like your hosting provider is setting a limit for file upload sizes and the theme is too big.

    I tried connecting via FTP but the details don’t seem to work. I’m using the details in private.

    I tried FTP and it is ok in my end. See screenshot in private. Try it again.
    Anyway, just in case you don’t succeed to update the theme, could you give a step by step so I can try?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update, though I’m still not having any luck with the details I posted in my last reply. If you want to have a go yourself then please follow this:

    – Navigate to the /wp-content/themes
    – Rename the Enfold folder to Enfold_bak or Enfold_old
    – Upload the new version to the /wp-content/themes folder
    – Go to appearance->themes in WordPress and activate the new version once the upload is done
    – Delete the old version if everything is working as it should

    If you don’t have any luck or don’t want to do it yourself then please check the FTP login details and post them again in private.

    Hi Rikard,
    finally I decided to try the update by myself. I would like to know if I have to upload in the /wp-content/themes the zip version of enfold or the folder not zipped?
