Hello,
We want to redesign our current website using Enfold theme; however there is something we must able to do and I cannot see it how with this theme.
We have a tracking system implemented on our current web done with integrations of Segment (https://segment.com/) and Google Tag Manager. For the system to track user events (clicks on buttons, submit forms, etc.) look up for specific IDs for those elements that we customized when we create them in our current theme.
For example, the “Get a Quote today” button we have in our home page, it has a custom ID: cta-get-quote.
This ID we set when we created the element in our current theme. How can we edit the elements ID with Enfold?
Thank you.
Hey David,
You can simply go to Enfold theme options > Layout Builder and check “Show element options for developers”. It will enable custom CSS field for ALB elements – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2013/12/blur.jpg. You can give your elements custom CSS classes to target them separately :)
Best regards,
Jordan Shannon
