    Same to me.
    We launched a new website yesterday and i cant connect the site with the Google Maps API.
    i tried it with and without restriction and deactivated the plugins….
    i generated a new key… nothings works.

    i figured it out for us. The client runs on a old php Version (5.6.) after update to 7.x i was able to connect to the google api.

    Normaly, you must pay now for Google Maps usage now, otherwise, only dev-Map is shown.
    You get a first bonus of XXX USD, but you must register a payment method.
