    Dear Kriesi team,

first of all I would like to thank you for this excellent theme and support. We are happy to use Enfold almost 2 years.

I recently updated a website from a very old Enfold version to the newest one and encountered two problems:

    1. The first one is with menu in mobile version. The burgers’ menu icon doesn’t shown.
    2. And the second one is with text widget in footer / Column 4. I cannot edit any information in it.

Would you please kindly help us with both issues.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards,
    CC

    Hey CC,
I took at look at your site and css and functions.php
I didn’t find to usual reasons for the mobile menu to not show, but you say that you updated from a very old version and you have many customizations in your functions.php, some that look like issues.
For example you have 18 remove action or filter scripts that could be causing a conflict.
Your widget is getting this error from the WordPress core:
    2018-10-19-221513

I recommend disabling your plugins, and removing all of your functions.php, then clear your cache, If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
if it doesn’t try reinstall WordPress to make sure the issue isn’t caused by any corrupt files, In your WordPress dashboard, go to Dashboard → Updates in the sidebar. Then, click the button to Re-install Now
    how-to-reinstall-wordpress-1
Please make a backup before doing this. Even though the reinstall is to help you reinstall WordPress without losing any content, it’s always a good idea to have a backup just in case something goes wrong!
If this doesn’t help please leave the functions.php empty and plugins deactivated, or allow us to deactivate for a short time, so we can investigate further

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Dear Mike,

Thank you for your kind support and prompt feedback.

I need your assistance. I deactivated all plugins, reinstalled WordPress and cleared my cache. But unfortunately burger menu’s icon hasn’t shown.
I left functions.php empty but no success.

Would you please kindly check at your end as well and if you need to deactivate something please do it. Every morning our host company do backup automatically so there is no problem to return previous version.

P.S. As far as i know all the customization in functions.php are done for one of our contact forms (I am sending you a link to it in private content area).

Once again thank you for your kind support.

    Regards,
    CC

    Hi CC,

I simply went to Enfold theme options > Performance and checked “Delete old CSS and JS files?”, saved, unchecked and saved again and that seemed to help with cache issue. Mobile menu shows up fine on my end at the moment. Please flush browser cache and review your website :)

    Regards,

    Dear Yigit,

Thank you so much for your kind support. The burger menu is shown on mobile version and looks fine.

And what about text widget in footer / Column 4? Is it with conflict with any plugin or the problem is somewhere else?

*(The issue is with low priority).

    Regards,
    CC

    Hi,

Could you please try adding following in wp-config.php file via FTP and check if that makes any difference?

    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Dear Yigit,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I add

    define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);

at the end of wp-config.php file via FTP but unfortunately there is no difference.
