    Hi Support,

    Having same issues as other: 4.5 successfully installed via FTP, but the Envato API personal token won’t validate.

    I”ve tried recreating the personal token 3 times, with the permissions as detailed; I’ve also tried adding the Envato market plugin, and had success validating via “Single Item Tokens (Advanced)” – “All Single Use OAuth Personal Tokens have been verified.”, but the “Activate Envato API Connection” validation keeps returning:

    “Incorrect token permissions, please generate another token or fix the permissions on the existing token.
    Please ensure only the following permissions are enabled:
    View and search Envato sites
    Download your purchased items
    List purchases you’ve made”

    The “Enfold Child Theme Options” page also returns the above error.

    Is it ok now that the All Single Use…” has been validated? Or do I still need to carry on trying to get the API validation?

    Hi Paul, had the same error message coming back to me also.

    I solved it by going through the following steps:

    First I did “Save all Changes” and than I pressed “Revalidate or remove the token“.

    Thanks meuwessen for the tip – but have tried that a few times, actually on each regeneration of the token, and still get spinning wheel on the Theme update tab. I also get the same error message in the Evanto plugin, so seems that something else is causing the error…

    Jordan can you advise further please.

    Could you please post WP admin logins here privately? Also, please share your token privately in case it is not inserted in Enfold theme options

    Hi Yigit,
    I have the same problem, after installing enfold 4.5 via FTP I could not validate the new token. I tried it for 3 times, it doesn’t work. After copying the token saving never stops.

    Hi TSommer, I think you’ll need to start your own thread, that seems to be how the support team prefer to handle each of these requests; it may help speed up your resolution of this issue.

    @simbeckhampson     I went to Enfold theme options > Theme Update and deleted your token and saved. Then i inserted it and saved once again and it worked.

    @tsommer     Please try what i did on @simbeckhampson’s installation and if that does not help, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach WP admin logins in private content field so we can look into it.

    Hi Yigit, I can see the changes have been applied and all looks good; what an interesting way to solve the riddle, I would never have come up with the solution! I’ll apply the same technique tomorrow for two other sites running the Enfold theme. Thanks for again for your help – Super!
