    Hello!
    Please – can you help?

    Firsttime i used the plugin “democracy poll” (Link: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/democracy-poll/ ) and: if a user is not loggedin, than it shows a bug: ERROR: voting is blocked…

    Have you an idea?

    voting is based on what? Cookies? Perhaps the GDPR settings of the theme.
    There’s no good solution to use a poll plugin at all that is compatible with GDPR (or in Germany: DSGVO) :-)

    thank you! That was the problem! I
    It was possible, to disable IP detection in the plugin settings. And now: It works now!

    Why? The problem is ENFOLD related and she said that it is solved above; such problems are often caused by the GDPR settings of ENFOLD

    Hi Gitte,

    Well, judging from the fact that disabling the IP detecting plugin helped tiefenschaerfe above, this plugin does rely on cookies or IP, but if a user chooses to block cookies there’s nothing we can do and frankly, this is not even our call.
