    Hello,

a basic question: When I put a static dummy Image with 1200x440px width in my header (see screenshot here -> https://imgur.com/HxhCiNy ) it fits the website’s max container width (set to 1200px as well) perfectly.

However, when I want to use a fixed width Advanced Layer Slider with exactly the same dimensions, it gets displayed slightly wider than the rest of the content on larger screens. Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/8LRnJWn

How can I give the Advanced Layer Slider the exact same behaviour than a static header image would have? In other words: How can I prevent the slider from being slightly wider as it should?

    Thx, Regards
    Michael

    Hey Michael,

Thanks for the login details and screenshots. Your container width is 1200 pixels so it should fit perfectly, though I couldn’t see the element in your screenshot where it’s not working on your actual site. On which page can we see that?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hey Rikard,

it does fit, but only on smaller screens or when I reduce the slider’s canvas size.

    See Slider Page: http://www.trabitsch.at/homepageV2/catering/
Vs Page with Static Image: http://www.trabitsch.at/homepageV2/ (as it should be)

The canvas size of the mentioned slider here is set to 1200px – If I reduce it (for example 1100px, tried that on other pages) it also fits on larger screens but the images get cropped a bit.

Specification would be the slider should have exactly the width of the content columns below – not more. On top no wider range than logo to last menu item.

Here for example http://www.trabitsch.at/homepageV2/leistungen-services/ the slider width is perfectly fine but the images get cropped a bit cause of the reduced canvas size.

    Hi,

the slider width is perfectly fine but the images get cropped a bit cause of the reduced canvas size.

The canvas width is actually wider than the specified value — current size is 1120px. The images have to be resized in order to keep their aspect ratio while maintaining the height of the slider canvas, which is currently set to 440px.

Try to insert the images as layers instead of setting them as slide background. Use images with the same sizes as much as possible.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
